Pokemon Unite to Add 3 More Pokemon to the Roster

Pokemon Unite has announced that three new Pokemon will be joining the game. Following the conclusion of the Pokemon World Championships 2024, the 5v5 MOBA game revealed that Armarouge, Darkrai, and Psyduck will be added to its roster.

Pokemon Unite, a MOBA game similar to popular titles like League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, challenges players to score as many points as possible within a time limit. Players can choose from a roster of 65 Pokemon, including fan favorites such as Garchomp, Mimikyu, and Greninja. Ho-Oh is the latest addition to the list, and now Armarouge, Darkrai, and Psyduck will be joining Aeos Island.

Armarouge, one of Charcadet’s evolutions, will debut on September 12. Armarouge will have low durability but high damage output from a distance. The new trailer reveals that Armarouge’s Unite Move will be Armor Cannon, a skill that Armarouge learns in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at level 62.

Darkrai, a legendary Pokemon from Gen 4, will join in October, although the exact date has not been announced. Darkrai will take on the role of Speedster, focusing on jungle hunting. While the trailer doesn’t provide many details about Darkrai’s abilities, a previous leak revealed that its Unite Move will be called Worst Nightmare and will put opponents into a nightmare.

Psyduck will complete the list with its release in November, with no specific date yet. Psyduck will be added to the list of Support Pokemon available in Pokemon Unite.
