Nintendo will open another official Switch store in the U.S. in 2025

Nintendo has just announced plans to open an official store in San Francisco, with a projected opening in 2025. This store, named “Nintendo San Francisco,” will be located at Union Square, one of the city’s iconic landmarks. With its presence there, Nintendo hopes to attract a large number of visitors to explore and purchase products related to its famous franchises such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon, along with many other exclusive brands.

Nintendo has several special stores dedicated to fans around the world, with the most prominent and oldest being the one in New York. It first opened in 2001 under the name The Pokémon Center, was later renamed Nintendo World in 2005, and then became Nintendo New York in 2016. Many of Nintendo’s major events have been hosted at this location over the years. However, soon fans in the U.S. will have another place to gather.

In addition to the New York store, Nintendo has opened several smaller stores, such as Nintendo Tokyo in 2019, along with other locations in Japan, like Kyoto. With the upcoming store in San Francisco, Nintendo will officially have two flagship stores in the United States by 2025, offering another exciting destination for fans and enthusiasts of the brand’s products. Detailed information about the official opening date will be announced by Nintendo at a later time.
